Nice vintage catalog of oboes and bassoons. Front cover shown in the first two photographs above. Has "Oboes" and "Bassoons", and also "woodwind music" on the front cover. Also has "Baxter-Northup Co. Los Angeles California". Also has a stamped mark from a person in Mount Penn, Pennsylvania- this may have been the person who received this catalog or who had a music store that sold instruments. Measures about 8 X 11 inches (front & back covers slightly larger than the inner pages) and has twenty pages. Has a printing date of 1927 inside. First half of the catalog shows a few oboes and also reeds and reed making equipment for oboes. Next few pages show a few bassoons, accessories, and reed making equipment for bassoons. Last few pages have listings of numerous instruction & song books for these instruments. Some nice photographs of the instruments on a few pages. The catalog shows some minor handling wear, but still in very good condition. Some light handling wear on the edges. Pages clean. Spine tight. No musty smell. A nice catalog.
