Sensibly priced and superior design (similar to Delta Rockwell 14" bandsaw design) for installation on legacy Walker Turner 14” and 16” Band Saws. Designed to be economical, serviceable, and duplicate original equipment functionality and fit. New HSS shaft (Made in USA) with V-Groove is precision machined to glide easily in original Walker Turner guide assemblies, no sticking or binding like some other aftermarket products. Bearings are full size premium quality RBI Tech ABEC-1 and match the original OEM bearing large dimension and functionality, built to take the full force of heavy blade thrust loads without compromise – compare our design to others who use miniature bearings fitted inside a steel jacket made to resemble a full size OEM bearing. Bearing races are heat treated hardened steel - and will not wear from the saw blade thrust load. Unlike the original SKF bearing, our design permits easy bearing replacement, and there is no mystery or hassle in trying to disassemble a blind press fit to replace a miniature bearing like that seen on other aftermarket offerings.
