Description: New & Unsmoked Ser Jacopo Picta Miro` 02 L1 Smooth Bullcap with Silver Ring This is a new and unsmoked pipe from the Picta series celebrating the art of Joan Miro`. The Picta Miro` series at 10 pieces is the smallest of the Picta collections (van Gogh 19 shapes, Magritte 20 shapes and Picasso 28 shapes). This is an interesting piece which is essentially a Billiard in the "Bing Crosby style" with two Bullcap rings around the bowl. It has a slim silver ring accenting the juncture of the shank and stem. The pipe has strong grain over its bowl with birdseye on either side panel and the "ribs" between them running down the middle of the bowl and the shank as well. There's nomenclature on the bottom and both sides of the shank and the tobacco chamber has been left natural so you can view the grain from the inside of the bowl. It's light weight and a lovely pipe especially for those folks who like somewhat longer light pipes. The pipe will come with a booklet showing one of the four Picta collections which inspired Giancarlo. In Ser Jacopo grading of smooth pipes, there's Rosso Inglese, L1, L2 and then into the Gem Series. The pipe pictured is the pipe you will receive.Purchase is for the pipe only, no box and no sleeve.The stem of this pipe is handmade from Lucite / acrylic / plexiglas and will not tarnish.The pipe will be packed with the stem separated from the bowl for safety and shipped insured.This pipe DOES NOT use a filter.
