On the hour or when the demonstration button is pressed, a grandeur introduction melody plays, then one of 30 total melodies play as the chapter ring and gears begin to rotate. LED lights flash along to the music while the numbers rotate before they return to their original position. “Chronograph” also features a temperature display and hygrometer, unlike any other musical clock.
