Description of the reverse On the reverse of the coin, on a mirror background, the abbreviations EU and UA are placed, which, intertwining, create a visual symbol of the unity of Ukraine and Europe. The two letters "U" are as if one whole, forming the image of a new life that is sprouting under the auspices of the European Union. Around the inscriptions ДЕН / ЕВРОПИ / EUROPE / DAY twelve stars are depicted, as on the EU flag, symbolizing the unity, integrity and harmony of the peoples of Europe.
