This places the center of gravity in the toe and heel of the face, reducing head sway, especially when hitting shots with an open face. This makes it possible to hit lob shots exactly as intended. ■Z-Grind is modeled after the JAWS RAW wedge.The Z-Grind sole, first introduced in the JAWS RAW wedge, has been introduced in models with lofts of 54 to 60 degrees. The wide sole is shaped like a C-grind, with a slight bevel not only on the trailing edge but also on the leading edge, inheriting the C-grind's ability to handle a variety of lies while being gentle enough not to puncture the turf and slide easily through it.
