Description: Native American Buffalo Headdress Belt Buckle Frontier Warrior Vtg 70s ...a very cool old Native American Warrior in Buffalo Headdress belt buckle. The Buffalo Headdress was a rare headdress worn only by a few Northern Plains Tribes, including the Sioux. It was only worn by particular clans, and only by warriors who were notable for outstanding feats. It was made from bull horns, buffalo fur, feathers, and sometimes extended all the way to the ankles. This is a gold tone metal buckle with a Native American style art inlay, from the 1970s. It is in decent used condition, as shown in the photos it does have some patina, and wear and tear from age and use. It measures approximately 3-1/2" x 2-3/8", it fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and it weighs about 2 oz. Please ask any questions before you buy, and look at all the photos, what you see is what you are buying. Thank you. *looking for other unique vintage buckles?
