Description: National Instruments PXIe-6361 PXI Multifunction I/O ModuleThe PXIe-6361 is a high-performance, 16-bit Multifunction I/O Module from National Instruments. Providing a wide range of features in a single PXI module, the NI PXIe-6361 offers 16 single ended analog input channels (or 8 differential), in addition to 2 analog output channels that have 16 bits of DAC resolution. In addition, the module is equipped with 24 digital I/O channels. The PXIe-6361 enables the user to quickly and easily perform a range of configurations and measurements- delivering advanced timing functionality, independent timing engines, and triggerable measurement tasks. As part of the National Instruments X Series, the PXIe-6361 utilizes a NI-DAQmx driver for software programming and configuration. Well suited for many test and measurement scenarios, this module is an excellent choice for applications ranging from basic data logging to control and test automation.The maximum channel sampling rate for the inputs of the NI PXIe-6361 ranges from 1.0 MS/s to 2.0 MS/s, while the maximum for the output channel sampling rate ranges from 2.0 MS/s to 2.86 MS/s. For additional flexibility, there is no limit for the minimum channel sampling rate. The NI PXIe-6361 Module features 4 general purpose counters that have 32 bits of resolution. These counters are useful tools for PWM, encoder, frequency, event counting, and triggering functionality applications.The power requirements for the PXIe-6361 depend on the power rail. For rails of 3.3 V, the device draws in 1.6 W. For 12 V, the power required is 19.8 W. The standard 3U PXI design of the PXIe-6361 module weighs 205 g (7.2 oz). It is recommended to operate the device only within a temperature range of 0 to 55 °C with a humidity of 10% to 90% (noncondensing). When not being used, the module can be safely stored within an increased temperature range of -40 to 70 ºC with a humidity of 5% to 95% (also noncondensing). The NI PXIe-6361 Module can handle random operating and non-operating vibration of 0.3 grms and 2.4 grms respectively, at a frequency of 5 to 500 Hz.
