NAD 7020e (3020) 100% Original Repaired and Cleaned Phono MM Stereo Receiver

Description: Update 10/31/24 ** BOO! I see lots of Views but only 1 watcher. If I can customize this basic restoration for you, please message me. New Main caps? New Power Supply caps? New audio caps? This 7020e was POPping in the right channel of the Phono Preamp due to excess "goop" on the input chokes. This is not an uncommon problem, as this adhesive is known to become conductive in old age. Carefully cleaning off the goop restores the original performance. The front switches were in need of a good cleaning and the pots were a bit noisy. Deoxit D5 and Fader F5 worked wonders, like they always do. Best of all, the Elite brand caps test good and sound great, including the large Main caps. Nothing else needs to be repaired, so I left all of the the original components as-is. I did clean and move the Impedance switch to the HIGH 8-ohm position to realign the Power Amp Offset and Bias adjustments per the service manual. IMO, the HIGH position should always be chosen, as it provides the maximum dynamic range and power. Cosmetically, this 7020eE is in excellent condition except for some small scratches and tape residue on the top/side cover. Please see photos. Full refund within 60 days. Buyer pays return shipping. Please message me with any questions, corrections, etc. ******* Chapter Two ******* The 7020e is a "3020_like" receiver in that it contains the same all-discrete transistor phono preamp, control amp, and power amp designs as the original 3020 models. It is also rather elegant in that it has two independent power transformers and power supplies, one for the analog amplifiers and the other for the digital tuners. It is literally an integrated amp with a tuner on top.
