Description: This is an ALCO FA-2, which is a model that Santa Fe did not own. It was manufactured by Mehano of Yugoslavia and marketed as a Model Power product. I have kept this locomotive in good condition and it is a very smooth runner. As built, only the rear truck is powered and so it has difficulty with grades, which my new layout has, but it can pull a decent length train on level track.
