N Scale Arnold Rapido Train Set - Made In West Germany, Vintage

Description: Vintage N-Scale Arnold Rapido Collector Train Set - Made in Germany I bought the parts of this set when I was between 8 and 10 years oldwith pocket-money I had saved up. Puts it between 60-62 years old.All were bought in the Stuttgart area and I had built a replica ofthe Black Forrest region. When my parents moved us to the US theseparts came with me. And they have traveled around the world a fewtimes in a box since then.I just found them, cleaned and serviced the two engines completely,oiled the switches and assembled part of the set for testing.Since the transformer is lost (it had the German plug anyhow), I useda 9V battery. Everything runs well. The set consists of: 1 Steam Locomotive 0225, Series 2 (DB 80 033 marking) 1 Steam Locomotive, large (DB 66 001 marking) (with internal light; cast housing) 7 train cars as shown in the photos (plus one for spare parts, not shown)23 straight tracks23 curve tracks, 30-degree 1 crossing track 3 switches with manual/electric controllers 2 power-connector tracks, curved 1 end-stop track Diverse accessories:Scene with deer, lots of trees, 3 cars, 1 streetlamp, 2 wiring contactsand a few spare parts Note, the above items are for older children and adults only that are seriouslyinterested in building N-Scale train sets. This does include collectors andformer or present train-fanatics like me.Due to its age some paint has worn/peeled off and the rear couplingof the large locomotive has broken off. Sorry, the set does not come with a power-supply.
