Mystery In Space #89 CGG(PGX) 7.0 F/VF (DC - 02/64) Hawkman Cover! (Like CGC)

Description: NOTE: FOR YEARS IN ALL MY LISTINGS I`VE INCLUDED AS THE FINAL PHOTO A PICTURE OF THE FULL MOON... Werewolf By Night... Now (in March of 2023) I`m starting to use a new one on future listings that a fellow Ebayer was nice enough to send me... Taken in Florida... NOTE: The first, fourth, and tenth photo are taken with a camera. They have flash glare, but they offer a better idea as to the actual color tone. The other photo`s are taken with my phone, and they show better detail in most cases and lack the glare... NOTE: The plastic case on this one is close to twenty years old. Although it still looks great, it does have a few scattered light scratches and wispy scuffing, likely from being wiped off. There is no thin top edge label. I have reduced the amount being charged for the grading by ten dollars due to these issues. This auction is for one CGG(now PGX) graded comic book. Graded in 2004. Mystery In Space number 89 from February of 1964 in 7.0 Fine to Very Fine with Cream to Off-White pages. This one features both Hawkman and Adam Strange! This is part of the third Hawkman tryout series and it precedes Hawkman number 1 by two months. The 54th Edition Overstreet would place the graded value of this book in 7.0 at $69.00, and (even though I know we are not buying slabs... we are buying comic books) the CGC grading and encapsulating along with their shipping and handling fees would run you thirty bucks or more. I have set the price at 140% of graded guide value plus twenty dollars(discounted from thirty dollars due to scratch/scuff/top edge label issue) for the grading, which, along with the eighteen dollars in shipping is, in my opinion, quite reasonable. Compare it to what other sellers are asking. This is a certified grade, so you know what you`re getting. I may have a different opinion of the grade of a book than the grading service, but they ARE the recognized grading standard these days, and these differences usually are on older books. No returns on graded books. They are what they are. The plastic case is one of the older styles(from 2004), and it has light scratches and scuffing),and it has not top edge strip label. Other than that it is in excellent shape with no other noteworthy defects. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged, but you will most likely want to put a new bag on it, since the one it is now in is for protection, not looks, and it may show wear. Raw books ship MEDIA MAIL, which is the most economical way to ship these, so that is how they will likely ship, with tracking included. While this method is the cheapest it is also the slowest. Items COULD take ten days or so to arrive. Melmac ships at the Parcel Postage rate, unless Priority is the same cost(which it sometimes is...).
