Description: First edition, first printing book club edition hardcover copy of My Cousin Rachel, by Daphne du Maurier (Doubleday, 1952). Daphne du Maurier's tenth novel, My Cousin Rachel builds on the popularity of her much more famous work, Rebecca. This later novel is a mystery set in a large country house on the coast of Cornwall. The novel has been adapted to film twice, first in 1952, starring Richard Burton and Olivia de Haviland, and then again in 2017, starring Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin. This book is in very good condition overall, with a tight spine and minimal wear. The dust jacket has obvious wear, focused around the edges, including various open and closed tears, some creasing, and surface wear.
