Description: I am a geologist and I have decided to sell some of my collection I have acquired in my travels through self collection, trading, or purchasing. I have a huge collection so there will be plenty to check out! This is an almost unbelievable piece of Hematite included Calcite with Duftite, with unusual crystal formations, from the world class locality of Tsumeb, Namibia. Calcite and Duftite are already an uncommon combination, typically only found in this area, but this piece is even more unusual in that the Calcite crystals appear to have Hematite inclusions causing the red tint. The Calcites on this specimen formed in two crystal habits. On the top side are the common rhombohedral crystals, but on the bottom are stalactites! The rhombohedrals are perfectly shaped and very gemmy. The Duftites are a deep grass green color and cover the entire top side. This is by far one of the most impressive mineral specimens I have had in my collection! The dimensions are 5.2 cm length, 4.5 cm width, and 3.3 cm height. It weighs 23.8 g.
