It is there as a representation on how the stand looks with something mounted to it. Dimensions are 28" tall X 12.5" in diameter. The pipe is 2.5" in diameter. The mounting flange/bracket IS included or could be left off if you want to slide a unit over the top of the pipe. Options for mounting your item are: -Sliding your unit over the 2.5" pipe-Using the supplied mounting bracket to bolt your item-There is a 3/8" nut and bolt in the middle of the pipe that could be used for attachments All of our listings utilize stock photos.
