Offered for sale is an uncatalogued and limited production MTH Rail King "O" Gauge #30-75741 Southern Railway (Car #1960) Four-Bay Cylindrical Hopper Car which was ordered in 2023. It is in Mint/Brand New condition: all original and unused, and it was removed from its box for the first time today for photos. The condition of the hopper is based on appearance only, and I did not test it for operating performance. The sides of this hopper car display a map of the Southern Railway System showing some of the major cities that the railroad served. It has a dark green and gray body with a white chassis, a dark green roof, clear and complete yellow lettering and realistic Southern Railway emblems, logos and markings on each side of the body. It is almost 13.5 inches long, and it comes with a detailed plastic body, an attractive and colorful paint scheme, die-cast metal trucks, metal wheels and axles, operating die-cast metal couplers, fast angle wheel sets and needle point axles. It also comes with a brand new, clean and complete, original MTH window box. This sharp-looking and uncommon MTH Southern Railway Four-Bay Cylindrical Hopper Car would look just great in a MTH freight train, and it would be a most welcome addition to any collection or operating railroad!
