Description: Untitled Document Gallery Store Mrs. Stewart's Bluing Welcome. This is such a fun antique bottle. I believe it hails from the 1920's because after that threaded caps were used, and this was a stopper bottle. Mrs. Stewart's Bluing has a fun and interesting history, and is still being produced to this day, except it now comes in plastic bottles. The glass is a faint green. Across the should is embossed 'THIS CONTAINS MRS. STEWART'S BLUING'. There are no chips or cracks. The only damage I see is a fracture inside the wall of the glass at the bottom edge which I clearly show in a photo. I leave any cleaning of hard water deposits to the buyer as I have been reprimanded too many times for 'altering' the state of the antique. This bottle has minor deposition on the inside surface which is easy to remove.
