This SBC high volume oil pump works with the stock SBC oil pump shaft bushing, but we recommend an aftermarket . This high volume oil pump moves 25 percent more oil by utilizing 1.500-inch long internal gears, which is .300-inch longer than stock pumps. Another benefit of a high volume oil pump is increased pressure at idle, providing some much needed peace of mind on the street.
