Harley currently stands over 17 hands tall and over 2,100 pounds at the age of 14. Harley is nearly twice the weight of the average racehorses he leads. He has an even temperament that has led him to be highly requested during the morning workouts and afternoon races at both Keeneland and Churchill Downs. He leads horses of all levels from first time starters, claimers, allowance, stakes, Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks, and Breeders' Cup runners. Harley is well known at the Kentucky racetracks and has a large following thanks to his large size, unusual coloring, and commanding expressions. Harley was honored at Breyerfest 2018 by becoming immortalized as a model for the company.
