Description: Original Pleasant Company Molly American Girl Doll w/meet clothes/accessories/and extra outfits all in excellent condition. Minimal handling throughout years this doll has been owned. Comes in original boxCollection consists of 3 special outfits - Meet Molly (original outfit), Roller Skating, and Miss Victory tap dance costume w/headpieceYou will receive:18" Molly Doll. (Not exactly sure of year she was made, but the box dates it to the early 2000s): She really looks as though she has never been played with and in near perfect condition. Her tan neck strings are intact and her tan cloth body is immaculate, free from stains or rips or signs of wear. Her limbs are tight; she holds a pose and stands independently. She has soft eyelashes and her eyes work as they should. Her skin is medium, hair is long and brown with bangs. Her hair does not have the original braids and is still glossy on top, but bottom of hair has a tiny bit of frazzle. I left it as it was and did not try to change anything. Her eyes are grey, lined brows, and cute little teeth peeking between her lips. Her arms and legs are free of any issue outside. This is a quality made and gorgeous doll by Pleasant Company. She will arrive in her Pleasant Company Original Meet Outfit: Molly's outfit reflects the need for versatility in one's wardrobe during the World War II era, when clothing restrictions were in place and by necessity, outfits needed more versatility than before and had to mix and match more than prior eras. You will receive: a Wool knit long sleeved pull over sweater with raglan sleeves. The majority of sweater is of navy blue knit; front has a navy blue, red, and green argyle pattern. She is wearing a navy blue wool A-line skirt. with four panel, center and side seams with waistband. Velcro closure at center back. Underneath her sweater is a white dickey with a Rounded "Peter Pan" collar with blue rickrack trim. She has white knit ankle socks and a pair of black MaryJane shoes. She has a pair of silver glasses and the red felt glasses case. You will receive 2 sets of these (one extra!) She is also wearing her white cotton bloomer style underwear; All items are in authentic Pleasant Company pieces and are in excellent condition .Molly's Miss Victory Costume (also known as Molly's Miss Victory Outfit and Molly's Tap Outfit) was originally released in 1990 and the one included with this set is from 2006. The cost of this outfit before it retired was $32. You will receive: a pair of white ribbed socks and black tap shoes with bows with metal plates on the bottom.The top is a full blue leotard with a silver and red star applique design. The skirt has a silver waistband with red blue and silver pleat accents. You will also receive the matching 3 star silver crown headband.Molly's Roller-Skating Outfit comes in its orginal box. This outfit is more rare as it was only in production for 2 years. It was introduced to Molly's Collection in 2006 and retired in 2008. Retail cost at the time was $24. You will receive the following pieces inside the original box that it came in: A yellow blousy shirt with white-dots and Peter Pan collar. It has a front placket with non functional white buttonsand white eyelet trim on collar, placket, and sleeves. Velcros up the back. Also is the matching teal and yellow plaid knee-length shorts. There is a teal grosgrain ribbon non-removable belt with faux buckle. Pull on with elastic at back waist. It has the white pair of socks and a reddish/chesnut set of penny loafer shoes. It comes with the original teal hair ribbon also. Lastly, there is a pair of roller skates with matching teal blue.
