Description: This is an original 1971 hardcover printing of "Modern Methods in the History of Medicine," edited by Edwin Clarke and published by The Athlone Press of the University of London. The original dust jacket is present. Topics covered can be seen on the contents pages in my 9th through 11th photos. The copy being offered is in fair condition overall and makes a good reading copy. As you'll see in my first five photos, the covers have moderate wear, and the dust jacket has heavier wear, most noticeably chipping, rub marks, and some small tears along the edges, along with a diagonal portion of the inner flap cut out. There is writing and a personal library sticker inside the front cover (shown in my 6th photo), and several pages in the front of the 389-page book have writing and marking (checkmarks, highlighting, underlining & other lines, some examples of which are shown in my 9th & 12th photos); after page 56, the marking becomes extremely rare. Finally, the binding remains strong.
