Mighty Gospel Harmonizers: “I Still Believe” Rare KY Deep Gospel Soul Lp

Description: Lesser known lp by this Lexington, Ky black gospel ensemble responsible for the “Devil Don’t Like It” album pressed by Archer. Though less rugged in production than that record and with slightly more modern sensibilities , there are several gorgeous, sunny ballads on this, particularly the title track. Some solid funky uptempo cuts, too. This is only the second copy I’ve found of this digging around the Lexington area 10+ years. By contrast I’ve found their other lp probably 5-6 times in varying condition. Sleeve looks beat up with creasing, tape on the top and bottom, but it’s structurally sound and displays OK; G+ Record, however, plays beautifully—high gloss visually and plays upper end VG+ Shipping in US only.
