Description: A really sturdy custom made knife that has seen a little use. Brass guard. Purchased out of the West Coast. The space between guard and blade shows a solder line. Grip appears to me to be three pieces of micarta with decorative spacers (Unknown composition or what they are made of} in the middle of the grip. Toward pommel end there is two brass round pieces with a steel spacer between them. A wooden bird head style pommel. Sheath is in good used condition. One very tiny tear next to rivet on sheath where blade came out and made a small cut. For accuracy sake, see photo. Very nice and rare Lawrence sheath marked 7 then The George Lawrence Co. Portland, Oregon with a 6 below. I assume the 6 for the 6 inch blade. They didn't make a lot of knife sheaths and is collectable itself. The rarely made Lawrence knife sheath worth a lot of the value in addition to the knife. Nice thick blade. The knife and feel of it reminds me of a John Nelson Cooper knife from California but I don't know if he made any unmarked pieces. Bought this out of the West Coast. Sale to USA only. Must be over 18 years old to bid or purchase and know your state laws regarding purchase of a knife. Buyer to pay shipping. Nice useable knife and sheath. Thanks for looking and if any questions let me know.
