Description: Here we have a stunning Poole studio pottery pin tray in the gorgeous and popular "Delphis" pattern. This comes shape number 361 which is fairly uncommon. It comes signed to the base with artists signature which is for Wendy Smith who worked at Poole between 1975-77 - this mark was in use to between 76-77. The Poole backstamp also dates it to between 1966-80. Each piece of Delphis ware is unique, no pattern is the same. This really is a stunning piece, it has such wonderful, bright vibrant colours and a stunning abstract fish design which is magnificent. The piece shows red, yellow and green hues on an orange background. This is a must for any collector/lover of Poole pottery, mid century or retro pottery. It measures approximately 7 inches by 4 inches. This is the only one on eBay of course so get it while you can!!
