Ltd. It is the largest cookware distributor in the United States and second largest in the world. The company was founded in 1981. Cookware labels or lines for which Meyer is the parent firm include Circulon, Anolon, the now defunct Steelon range, NapaStyle, SilverStone (under license from DuPont), Rachael Ray, Paula Deen, Cake Boss, Ruffoni, Ayesha Curry, Joe Wicks, Breville Cookware (under license from Breville Group), Prestige and BonJour. Circulon cookware uses DuPont's™ advanced 3-layer nonstick coating called Autograph which is applied to the inside surface. DuPont™ is the same company that makes Teflon. The Autograph coating is one of their most advanced nonstick offerings. Circulon is a well-known brand in the United States and has been around for more than 25 years. The company introduced its patented, hard-anodized aluminum nonstick cookware in 1985. Circulon was the first company to provide cookware that combined nonstick properties with aluminum. The aluminum core allows heat to distribute evenly so pots and pans don't have hot spots.
