The bottom part is molded plastic? It comes with the original manual. The corner brace you would attach to the wall is included. The unit turned on and the flames came to life. The blower that makes the heat has its own control. It also worked. I am pretty sure it would not keep a room warm but it was a nice touch. It stands 62” tall x 36” wide x 14” deep.
