Description: Original interior design drawing from an F.I.T. student portfolio. The portfolio contained architectural and Interior design paintings, drawings, collages and blueprints done by the same student, Eileen Benson, from 1970 to 1972. Eileen Benson graduated F.I.T. in May of 1972. This piece depicts a brilliant interior design drawing of a New York City office and more specifically the reception area. Mixed media. Medium is colored pencil and marker on rigid paper board. One can also note the silver foil which was used to make the chrome elements of the mid century modern furniture. The ceiling is made of cut rigid cream color paper. Boasts collage elements as well in the abstract painting hanging on the wall which is made up of various magazine cutouts! Very well done with clean lines and pleasing detail. In Very Good overall condition with only gentle wear consistent with age. This piece came from the student portfolio of a Fashion Institute Of Technology student who graduated in 1972. Sealed in protective Mylar. Reedy to frame.
