Description: Beautiful late 1950s / early 1960s mid-century modern sleeveless day dress made by the Stacy Ames label of a lightweight & slightly sheer cotton blend fabric with an abstract design in pink, taupe & black against a cream coloured background. The summer dress features a draped / blouson bodice with a round neck opening, darted bust, rear button closure and a fitted waist. The attached skirt has vertical pleats and a knee length hem. The dress is unlined (most likely you will want to add a slip underneath) and closes at the back with buttons as well as a metal zipper. MEASUREMENTS: No size labels ... the bust measures 40 inches (therefore fits a size 32 - 36 bust best), the waist measures 29 inches and the hips are 60 inches. There is no stretch to the fabric ... as always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress is 40 inches in length.
