Description: 11/30 - I just added more pictures and in doing so I reevaluated this sweet chicken cooker. I think I was a little conservative about the age. I believe it is at least 20 years old. Also, I studied and photographed the sharp edge I mentioned in the original listing (below). From the top one of the corner edges appears to be chipped. It is part of the original fabrication because it is fully glazed. (See the last 2 pictures.) The only chip I find is a tiny glaze chip on the bottom as seen in picture 5. (Needless to say, I won't be trying to list a piece from memory again!!!) The measurements are approximately 12" X 9.5". This is a McCartys Pottery chicken cooker with the jade glaze. It is slightly smaller and weighs less than the older pieces so I'm guessing it was made in the last ten years. It is signed on the back and is in excellent condition. Some of the thumbprints are very deep giving them a sharper edge. This little beauty is ready for the holidays! Please pay within 3 days of the auction close. Thanks for your interest!
