Description: Mayo Methot (1904-1951) personally signed letter, dated 1944. Address as "Dear Kids," to Bogart's fan club, with great content about their tour to entertain the troops during World War II. This letter is part of the collection of Eloise Coates, who founded the first Bogart fan club. The collection was first auctioned by RR Auctions, one of the premiere autograph auction houses, and then later by Bonham's. Methot and Bogart had a tumultuous marriage, to say the least, gaining them the nickname, The Battling Bogarts. 8.5" x 11", Very Good condition. I guarantee the authenticity of this autograph. I've been buying and selling autographs for 30 years, I was a feature writer for Autograph Collector Magazine in the 1990, and I've been selling on Ebay since 2001. Please see my extensive autograph listings - I'm happy to combine shipping. Thanks, and happy collecting!
