Description: Tidy Maximinus denarius with Providentia reverse, see photos for attribution and condition. Coins with this portrait were thought to have been struck before the die engravers knew what the new Emperor looked like so the portrait is more like Severus Alexander than Maximinus, they don't have that huge chin associate with Maximinvs! Quite rare and good grade, small die break around the cornucopia on the reverse and a few very minor scratches, overall a lovely and problem free coin.
