Description: For sale is an authentic size 58 Matt Gilroy 2011 game worn New York Rangers Blue Heritage Jersey. On the bottoms of the front collar is the NHL shield. Diagonally across the front of the jersey is “NEW YORK” in red letters and outlined in white. On the right shoulder of the jersey is the New York Rangers 85th Anniversary Patch. On each sleeve of the jersey is Matt’s number 97 in red and outlined in white. On the inside back white collar is “Established 1926”, the Rangers first year. On the back outside collar is the Reebok insignia. Across the back of the jersey is “GILROY” in white. Underneath “GILROY” is again Matt’s number 97 in large red and outlined in white. On the back inside tail of the jersey is “1 2 3 7 9 9 11 35” representing the 8 retired NY Rangers numbers as of 2011. On the inside back collar there is a size 58 tag. On this tag is a Steiner Game Used Hologram with the verification number 163943. This jersey comes with a Letter Of Authenticity from Steiner Sports Memorabilia certifying and guaranteeing this is a Matt Gilroy NY Rangers Game Worn #97 Blue Heritage Jersey (Worn February 13th thru April 4th 2011). The LOA also contains a hologram with the verification number 163943 which matches the verification number on the hologram on the jersey. I have included the LOA in my pictures. Matt Gilroy was an NCAA champion and Hobey Baker award winner while with Boston University. In addition to the Rangers, Matt played for the Tampa Bay Lightening, Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers during his NHL career.
