Description: Marshall JCM800 2205 50 Watt Head Made in 1987. A Total Classic. If you know who Michael Schenker is, you will know that this model head is the one that he has used to get his signature sound for decades. It has Great creamy lead sounds & great reverb. Channel 1 can be crystal clear or have a little crunch. Channel 2 has much more gain than earlier JCM 800 amps before this one. The fx loop is not working. I do not know why. I have never had it looked at. I don’t know if it’s a tube or what. I will check the tube. If you don’t use the fx loop it’s no big deal. Pedals going through the front input to a pedal board sound better any way. The vinyl on the head itself is in very good condition. Comes with a Marshall two button foot switch to control the Reverb and the channel. It’s not the one that came with it because I never got one when I bought this. So when you hit the reverb button it changes channels and when you hit the channel button , it turns the reverb on & off. Maybe the foot switches can be switched from the inside. This Comes from a smoke free home.
