If you are familiar with the name then you will know what am talking about. Here are some of the modification.The tone controls are disabled for better performance.There is a high end Clearview MK2 power-cord which is about $ 350.00There is a high end step volume attenuator as well which would be another $ 250.00There are Maple rails for brass footers that are used to enhance vibration dampening. You need to buy the brass separately. Bottom line this doesn't sound like a regular Scott. This will outperform high end preamp and amp units in the $ 20,000.00 price range. This integrated has larger output tubes than the EL84 that most of the Scott units have therefore better bass. These modified Scotts bested a full Linn Klimax system which made me dump Linn when was a dealer for them. The phono stage is amazing as well and can't tell you enough about these modified Scott units. We will need a few extra days before shipping because we insure each unit is tested before going out the door. By the way have been working with Pierre Sprey for over 10 years doing the prototypes for the brass footers and other projects. Also modify Turntables and other vibrational dampening for custom projects.
