Coverage on the Portsmouth side is around Queen Street with tightly packed rows of terraced streets to either side. In Gosport coverage is of the area around Clarence Square. Note that the 1931 version has the dockyard areas shown in detail, but on the 1896 and 1907 versions these are left blank for security reasons If you are buying just one version you are recommended to choose the 1931 one. Features include railway with Portsmouth Harbour station, The Hard, Station Hospital, Mill Dam Barracks, St George's church, Anglesey Barracks, tramways, Holy Trinity church, St Matthew's church Gosport, Coldharbour Mud, Burrow Island. The 1931 version also shows much of the Dockyard and Royal Naval Barracks in detail, also the Royal Clarence Victualling Yard and Gosport Barracks on the Gosport side of the map. Each map includes extracts from street directories on the reverse. The map links up with Hampshire Sheets 83.06 Gosport West to the west, 83.08 Central Portsmouth to the east, 83.11 Old Portsmouth to the south.
