Description: MANON OF THE SPRING linen Monacan giant poster 1953 Manon Des Sources, Pagnol 47x63 fair condition: The poster had darkening on most folds, with paper loss at some of the crossfolds, and some small tears and paper loss on parts of some folds only. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. After the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and there is now a series of creases 5" to the right of center vertically down the poster (both in the poster and in the linen).
