Cardboard is included inside box. Only issue is that the rubber on the steering wheel comes away from the plastic a bit. This does not affect playability and it looks as if the plastic clip at that location may have snapped. Not 100% sure. See pic on that. One side of the box also has a hole in it, pictured.
