The colors have excellent light fastness and are wash-resistant even when not baked. The paint is tack free in a few minutes and fully dry after a minimum of 24-hours. Once fully dry, the finished piece may be baked for an enameled finish; this is not required for markers as they are wash resistant after air-drying for 72-hours. The porcelaine 150 paint can be applied on porcelain, china, glazed earthenware, terracotta, metal, enameled sheet steel, copper and glass. Use soapy water to clean work surfaces. The colors have remarkable resistance to dishwashing and to normal detergents after baking. Colours can be mixed together. DRYING:72 hours for light washing without soaking. BAKING FOR ALL COLOURS, AUXILIARIES AND MARKERS IN THE RANGE, FOR DISHWASHER-SAFE USE: 35 minutes at 150 degrees C (300 degrees F), in a domestic oven (at a stable temperature), after drying for a minimum of 24 hours. SURFACES: Porcelain, earthenware, ceramic. Pyrex, Arcopal or equivalent-type surfaces should not be used. THINNER: Porcelaine 150 thinner. OPACITY: Opaque, semi-transparent or transparent colours. BRUSH CLEANING: Soap and water. How to use these markers to make doll eyes: Use glass beads or these Porcelain Balls 1. Press balls into a piece of scrap clay so that they stay put and do not roll. 2. Draw eye irises with a porcelain marker. Wait a few minutes and draw pupils with a black porcelain marker. For added protection, although it is not really necessary, you can bake Pebeo Paint for 35 minutes at 150 degrees Fahrenheit (66 degrees Celsius). Add a layer of clear lacquer (optional) at the very end - after all baking is done.
