The 22 Major Arcana, from the Fool (0) to the World (XXI), are made up of archetypal images, symbolizing the various stages of an initiatory path. Derived from Neoplatonism, the term archetype designates the universal patterns found throughout all cultures: myths, traditions, dreams... Thanks to its rich figurative language, the tarot connects to our collective and personal unconscious. It leads each person to introspection and understanding of his/her psyche. Inspired by chiaroscuro, 22 Arcanas universe is imbued with dark beauty and mystery. The shadow and light, inseparable in the deck, will reveal to you the meanings and messages of the cards. Our tarot is the perfect tool to go with a "Shadow Work" projective work , it becomes a great psychological medium of self-discovery and self-knowledge. The notion of Shadow, initiated by Carl Gustav Jung, founder of analytical psychology, reveals what we do not want to see or accept from ourselves. Its' recognition and reintegration allow us to evolve and develop our spirituality. The universal archetypes of tarot through their images and symbols allow us to connect to this "shadow" that sits in our personal unconscious. But if a shadow exists, the light is not far away! Our tarot deck consists of 78 original colored cards in Large-Format (75mm x 125mm) created using mixed media techniques combining digital blending and traditional painting techniques applied with a graphic tablet.
