Description: Beautiful Aluminum Coin Lustrous MS 66 Egypt Small Coin 1972 AD 1392 AH One Millieme Falcon With Shield For your Egyptian Coin Collection-EGC795 Details Description: A nice uncirculated 1972 (1392 AH) One Egyptian Millieme Aluminum coin. This is a rather small and very light coin. The coin depicts the image of an Islamic Falcon (The Falcon of Quraish) with a blank shield on its chest, on the obverse. There is the legend Arab Republic of Egypt below the falcon. The reverse has the denomination flanked by the date 1972 AD and 1392 AH and the words Gomhuriet Misr al-Arabiah (Arab Republic of Egypt) above it. It is KM-A423 and measures approximately 16 mm in diameter. The coin has a toothed border on both sides. The coin is graded MS 66 by NGC and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. Small coins of low denomination such as this are rather rare in such high grade since they are used extensively and do not lend themselves to long term survival.
