LUDWIG LC401 Classic Series 14x5 RADIC Snare Drum This is a maple snare from the "Classic" series that was manufactured until the mid-1990s. Unlike the current model, it is a 6ply shell with thicker wall thickness (probably not all-maple at this time). Therefore, it has a more open but fat sounding impression than the current Classic Maple. The snare is about 30 years old and there are some minor scratches on the parts, but there is no significant damage and it is still in good condition for safe use.
