These are a great replacement for the factory bolts, and will work with aftermarket headers. They are a much higher quality bolt than comes with most header sets, zinc plated to resist rust. Truck owners take note: The GM bolts on pickup trucks equipped with these engines are notorious for breaking, particularly the hard to reach bolts in the rear.
