Description: 3D Print Lowrance Replacement Tripleshot Mount I had a couple of Lowrance Tripleshot transducer mounts break at the mount's neck. It appears they break due to side loads from water pressure when the boat turns. The replacement transducers are not cheap, so I created this replacement mount.I cut back the remaining broken mount from the transducer as shown in the provided pictures. It easy cut the plastic by hand using a hack saw. Be careful not to cut into the wire or the transducer body. The modified transducer slides into this mount, and a 5mm grub set screw (12mm long) can optionally be used to secure it from the hole in the top of the mount.Lowrance will likely display some noise when using this mount. To try to prevent interference from any hollow spots, I printed this with 8 lines for walls, ceiling, and floor so that the body that goes around the transducer is solid. As shown in the provided pictures, I printed it at an angle such that the neck would be layered along its length instead of across its width for added strength, and at 0.28mm for strength. It was printed with supports, but blocked supports from the mount's bolt hole and the set screw hole. I used PLA, but other materials like PETG might be a better choice for a wet environment.I've taken the boat out several times with this mount, and it has survived so far. Boat speeds have been under 40 MPH.
