Description: Lovely Early Dance Compact Miniaudiere Carryall Coins Tokens. Offered is an early dance compact carryall or miniaudiere. The exterior is silver tone metal with the outside trim gold tone metal. The two tones add to the striking appearance of the compact. The gold trim is very ornate. The interior is gold tone with a clean oval mirror on one side. The opposite side has an empty compartment I am assuming is for powder and two places for coins or possibly tokens. Measures 4.0” long and 2.0” wide at the widest point. The chain handle has a 5” drop. Style is somewhere between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Overall excellent condition. I would estimate it at around 100 years old.
