Lovely Early 19thC Painted & Lacquered Papier Mache Cheroot Case

Description: Late Georgian/early Victorian cheroot case with a painted portrait of a young lady to one side with gilt lettering spelling the name ‘James Lister’ above and below.The lacquered reverse is decorated with gilt circles and the leather sides are of concertina design.In good antique condition with a couple of tears to the leather and a couple of star cracks to the lacquered reverse.It measures 14 x 7 cm.
