Description: Lovely ornate, designer signed sterling silver and 18 Kt. yellow gold carnelian band ring, size 5 1/2, sizable. This beautiful ring is nearly 1/2” wide and weighs 9.2 grams. It is set with a rich red-brown carnelian cabochon that is approximately 8 mm by 11 mm. This ring has a lot of texture and dimensional detail and has strong gold presence with two large sections (four, total) on either side of the stone. It is in good pre-owned condition with no damage other than some scratches on either side of the half bezel that holds the carnelian. They look more pronounced in my photos as I enlarge my pictures to show detail. They are only obvious on close examination and could easily be evened out by any bench jeweler, if desired. I have reduced my price because of this, although it is not a serious issue by any means. Aside from this, the ring is in very good condition. It is signed in a cartouche on the interior of the ring with a designer’s mark that I cannot make out, “925” and “18 Kt.”.
