Description: The alternative rock band Love and Rockets formed almost FORTY years ago, in 1985. It's actually the members of the goth pioneering band Bauhaus, but without Peter Murphy. Love and Rockets released their first album in '85, and is still around to this very day! The band was recently on tour with Jane's Addiction, until those guys called it quits before the tour ended (long story). Bauhaus actually had a reunion tour in 2022, but had to end it so Peter Murphy could go to rehab. Love and Rockets released their third studio album 'Earth, Sun, Moon' in 1987. That great album gave us the big hit "No New Tale to Tell", and the video was in heavy rotation on MTV. The album is really good, but that one song is definitely legendary! The band released albums through the 80s and 90s, including 'Sweet F.A.' in 1996. The band went with a harder rock sound this time, instead of the experimental styles of the previous album 'Hot Trip to Heaven', released THIRTY years ago, in '94. And what did the 'f.a.' stand for in the title? F**k All! Lol Today we spotlight Love and Rockets with a sweet bundle of music from those guys! The first disc is the '87 release of 'Earth, Sun, Moon'. Disc looks new, and is shiny and clean. Case also looks new. Then it's the 'Sweet F.A.' album from '96. Disc looks new, and is shiny and clean. Case also looks new. I'll even throw in two CD maxi-singles, with several remixes! The first one is from the thirty year old album 'Hot Trip to Heaven', and it's the first single, called "This Heaven". It contains FOUR mixes, including the album version! Disc looks good, with only a few very light surface marks on it. Nothing bad or that will affect play. Last CD maxi is for the second single from 'Hot Trip to Heaven', and the song "Body and Soul". With FIVE mixes, including the album version, plus a non-album track ("Coyote")! Disc looks great, with only a couple of very, very light surface marks on it. Nothing bad or that will affect play. Digipak case has some wear on it. And we'll end this listing with the third studio album from Bauhaus lead singer Peter Murphy, titled 'Deep'. It's TEN total tracks, and has a goth feel on a couple of songs, and touches of alternative rock on the others. The video for "Cuts You Up" was in heavy rotation on MTV back in the day.
