Description: Here's a deluxe LP Custom 1980s clone, branded for Lotus, possibly made in the Samick or Cort factory in Korea - though some high-level Lotus guitars were Japanese-made, too. Sporting a killer blueberry finish that really pops! Includes a good quality MIC pleather-cover locking hard case. The guitar sounds and plays very well, and needs nothing save for perhaps strings of your choosing, and maybe action/touch adjustments for your style! I believe this guitar is from the 1981-86 period, and it might have DiMarzio 'zebra' pickups. they are certainly "hot" humbuckers and contribute to the sound this guitar has - something of a "hot rod" Les Paul tone circa late 70s/early 80s. Comparable to top-end Yamaha, Cort, or Ibanez LPs. It has a brass nut, brass saddles, rosewood fingerboard, set neck joint, cream pickguard and accents, 7-layer binding around the body, and a phase switch for an additional sound when both pickups are selected. It's probably laminate; weighs about 8.58 lbs, not the chunkiest, but thick enough for good body resonance and sustain. there are a few minor paint loss dings, such as on one corner of the headstock, and a shallow gouge breaking the top coat, as you can see right above the pickup toggle switch. Looking closely it may be someone tried to use touch-up of a slightly different color? Unsure, it may just be an effect of the cracks in the finish. see our other listings for more music, radio, broadcast audio stuff. Thanks for looking!
