Description: This vintage Rolex lot of six (6) genuine fat font bezel inserts for sapphire crystal models is in decent condition showing varying degrees of wear. Each insert displays scratching, chipping or both. None of the inserts show any visibly significant bending. Please carefully review the pictures, particularly the back of each insert as it is the back that tells the true story of which insert goes to what reference. Regardless of how good you think you may be at popping out and snapping in inserts, I've seen countless inserts cracked and chipped at the hands of even the most skilled watchmakers. Even NOS inserts can have unseen integrity issues given storage, handling and environmental conditions over time. While not foul proof, it's always advisable to have a skilled watchmaker handle the removal and placement of your insert to lower the probability of something going wrong. Additionally, inserts and bezels that weren't born together likely won't fit together seamlessly given wear to each. As such it should be anticipated that some form of manipulation will be needed to get this insert properly seated.
