Description: This is a group of six circa 1870 CDV album fillers, based on Currier & Ives "Girl's Name" portraits (they originally were Currier & Ives drawings). 2 1/2" x 4" each. The names on them are "Shoo Fly," "The Pride of Kildare," "Egyptian Belle," and "Yankee Girl." Excellent condition with just a few light scratches on some and a few areas of darkening. These pictures were meant to be used as filler for an album of CDV photographs (carte de visites). If you didn't have enough pictures in the 1870s, you could use one of these pictures to fill out your album. They have no information on the backs. These will be shipped in an envelope between cardboard stiffeners. Where possible, we will combine items to reduce shipping costs; please contact us before paying if you'd like us to combine listings.
